Amkette EvoFox FireBlade Keyboard In-Depth Review

Image
Amkette is a relatively well-known brand in the computer accessories space. They make high-quality USB cables, gaming controllers for phones, and other things of the sort. They have recently launched a new series of "gaming" keyboards under the name EvoFox . I've been using their affordable EvoFox Fireblade Semi-Mechanical gaming keyboard for over 3 months now , and I think it's time for an in-depth review. Price: 899 INR on Amazon . Build and Design: On first look, without the backlights on, the FireBlade gives you a pretty nice matte-finished weighty feel when you pick it up. The keys aren't overly wobbly and the whole thing feels decently well made despite having an all-plastic body. When you plug in its very well braided USB cable into your computer and the LEDs switch on, that sheds some (RGB) light on a few new minor inconsistencies. You'll notice the rather uneven paint job done on the underside of the keys, especially in the bottom row. The spray pai

Gaming Monster with a curved display!

This is the amazing new Acer predator 21X. A one of a kind notebook with a curved display! It's badass looks are complemented by the hardcore specs powering it. Acer wants to make a laptop that's both easy on the eyes (hence a curved display) and also a brutal gaming machine. These are the specs that I've found: 7th gen Intel core processors ( most likely i7) Dual NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 GPU 5 cooling fans World's first eye tracking technology Curved 21 inch quad HD display 4 speakers and 2 sub woofers with Dolby®  audio No word on the RAM size yet. I guess it will probably be 16 or 32 GB DDR3, judging by the remaining awesomeness. This notebook comes with the Nvidia G-sync technology to maintain smoother frame rates on that heavy screen resolution. The cooling fans are made of ultra thin blades to minimize the noise and for more effective cooling, according to Acer. It has a full mechanical keyboard, not the regular flat keys

A 9 mm slim laptop!!

This is regarded as the HP Spectre killer. The Acer swift 7 takes overtakes the spectre for the ' world's slimmest laptop ' position, coming in at just 9.8 mm thick and 1.1 Kg in weight. It's definitely the slimmest, but slightly heavy than the 970 gm MacBook. This laptop has several nice touches to it that aren't major specs, but really make a difference in usability. Like the vast touchpad which is certified as Microsoft precision pad. It's wide area allows flawless cursor movement and for some reason it feels really comfortable to use, although it's difficult to trigger the touchpad edge gestures of Windows 10. There are twin  USB 3.1 type C ports on it and also a 3.5 mm headphone jack despite the slim form factor. That's great and apple should really learn the benefit of 2 USB ports. You can charge this thing and use the other port for data transfer at the same time, without the need for any bulky hubs. These are th

Dope Gaming tech from Acer

Gamers among you will know about the Acer predator series of gaming devices. They are a hardcore set of gadgets exclusively meant for handling intensive graphics. There are 3 devices in the series : predator 15 , predator 8 and predator 6 . The numbers associate with the screen sizes. So predator 15 is a gaming laptop, predator 8 is a tablet, and predator 6, my favorite, is a smartphone. Predator 15 This is the most popular front of living room gaming. Most people prefer laptops for gaming. The predator 15 has variable specs based on your region, but here are the general specs: Intel core i 7 6th gen processor , 3GB VRAM Nvidia GeForce GTX900M GPU 15' display, 4K resolution supported( another 17' variant also available) 16GB DDR3 RAM 1TB HDD+ 128GB SSD Windows 10 64 bit Apart from the badass looks and the hardcore specs, there are plenty other nifty hardware and software additions to improve your experience. You can take out the DVD drive

A 10mm thin dope LAPTOP!!

HP spectre  is the world's thinnest laptop which is released till date, coming in around  10.4mm  in thickness! The laptop has already been released in china about 4 days ago and making its way to India soon. HP have built it with extreme precision and displayed cleanest craftsmanship that you might find on any portable device out there๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘Œ. Spec wise, the Spectre has  8GB  of LPDDR4 RAM,  256GB SSD , and an IPS LCD display of  13.3 ". Powering this sleek machine is the  Intel core i7 processor  clocked at about  3Ghz . They haven't used the fanless intel M processors that other slim laptops use. They managed to put a  heat sync pipe  which dissipates heat out of the spectre, without a fan. Well done, HP! In the realm of thin laptops, usually your wallet gets thinner too๐Ÿ˜‚. But that may not be the case here. The HP spectre retails for a reasonable price of  78,000  INR. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a sleek and premium laptop, without sacrificin
