Huawei honor magic

huawei honor magic

This is probably the classiest phone I've seen since the note 7. This is Huawei's new AI based smartphone, called the honor magic. It's pretty awesome in more ways than one, and here's your first look at it.

The Huawei honor magic is, more or less 'magical' in a technical sense😁. The phone has some pretty cool artificial intelligence thingies going on, that amazed me. There's the Huawei's own DeepThink system and it combines itself with an IR based iris scanner, to show notifications only to authorized eyeballs😲! How amazing is that! No need to worry about intruders, peeping into your lockscreen anymore. Their eyes aren't welcome on the magical Huawei phone😎!

Those curves!

Spec wise, the magic is no slouch:

  • Runs on an octacore 2.3 GHz HiSilicon Kirin 950 processor
  • 4 GB of DDR4 RAM
  • Mali T880 MP4 GPU
  • 64 GB non expandable storage
  • 2900 mAh battery
  • 5.1 inch QHD AMOLED display, with 71% screen-to-body ratio!🙌
  • 12 mp dual cameras sensors on the rear and an 8 mp selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture.

The phone feels excellent in the hand, thanks to those curved edges and an all round symmetrical design. The rear camera sensor take excellent photos and the QHD AMOLED display is great. That's not the main dish here, anyway.

pretty awesome!
The phone's main focus feature is the UI. That intelligent Huawei honor magic UI on top of Android marshmallow is set out to claim, that it has the most intuitive set of features ever seen. Huawei makes the same claim it made with the mate 9, that this phone won't get slower over time. The baked-in machine learning supposedly keeps the CPU kicking for a lot longer than a traditional UI. That's due for a review but for now, that iris unlocking stuff is brilliant. I love that the iris scanner of the note 7 is emerging out on other phones too.

Hey look! A headphone jack!!
The phone uses Huawei's own magic powercharge technology and can supposedly charge up to an amazing 90% in half hour! If it actually works, we might say that OnePlus's Dash charge has been killed!

I'll definitely have more to cover on this phone, so I'll probably do a review too. So please check back at my website in a while😁👍.
