The 4th iteration of the G series has a 16 mp rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5 mp front camera with f/2.2 aperture. The camera is also equipped with dual LED flash and laser autofocus system. Other key specs are:

#5. Micromax canvas 6 ( @13,500)

These guys weren't so great on the camera department either, but recent things have changed on the canvas series with the release of the new premium canvas 6 and 6 pro. The pro falls out of our price range, but the original 6 is still pretty good on it's own. It has a 13mp rear camera woth f/2.0 aperture and an 8mp front camera. Both cameras are the best that I've seen from camp micromax till date. Other aspects of the phone are:

  • PowerVR G6200 GPU
  • 3GB DDR3 RAM
  • 32 GB onboard storage expandable upto another 64GB via microSD card.
