Top 5 big battery phones under 15,000 INR

We all like extended usage time on our smartphones. Some of us carry around some power banks to get immediate juice; others whip out some bulky battery packs to put on their phones as a life support for the battery! But if you want to get a power packed device with more than enough juice under the hood, here are my top 5 pics of mega battery smartphones under 15K INR. The list is made by keeping in mind the performance that you get alongside the biggest possible battery unit.

#1.  Xiaomi mi max (@14,999)

This is one of the most powerful phones with the highest capacity batteries that I've seen in this budget. Other than a beefy 4850mAh battery, these are the key specs:

  • 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Qualcomm MSM8956 Snapdragon 650 processor
  • Adreno 510 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 32 GB on board storage, expandable up to 128 GB

#2. Xiaomi redmi note 3 (@ 11,999 INR)

You probably saw this one coming! It has the same specs as the mi max above, but a slightly smaller battery with an obviously smaller form factor! It has a 4050mAh battery, also:

  • 1.8 GHz, Hexa Core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor
  • Adreno 510 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 32 GB on board storage, expandable up to another 32 GB

#3. Meizu M3 note (@ 9,999 INR)

This was Meizu's flash sale hit via amazon to India. The previous iterations like the m2 note and m1 note aren't so prominent as this guy.
it's packed with a 4100mAh battery and also:
  • 1.8 GHz, Octa Core, MediaTek Helio P10 processor
  • Mali-T860 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 32 GB on board storage, expandable up to 128 GB

#4. Lenovo Zuk Z1 (@13,400 INR)

Zuk is a a sub-brand owned by Lenovo, and this is a phone they've come up by teaming up with Cyanogenmod!  Though this Zuk Z1 has an older CPU, it's very stable in terms of operation and has a large 4000 mAh battery. other key specs:
  • 2.5 GHz, Quad Core, Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor
  • Adreno 330 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 64 GB non expandable on board storage

#5. Gionee Marathon M5 (@ 12,900 INR)

This is the least powered among these phones in terms of processor, but the highest in terms of battery capacity. The marathon M5 has a monstrous 6020 mAh battery cell! Other specs are however, not so breathtaking:
  • 1.3 GHz, Quad Core, MediaTek MT6735 processor
  • Mali-T720 GPU
  • 3 GB RAM
  • 32 GB on board storage, expandable up to 128 GB

Bonus mentions:
Lenovo Vibe P1m( @ 6,999)
