10,000 mAh battery smartphone!!?

world's largest battery phone

Oukitel K10000 is the answer to all your low smartphone battery rants. For the absolute hardcore users out there who just don't like the charger attaches to their phone, thou phones huge 10,000 mAh battery will get you through a week, no problems! Here are my thoughts on how this phone would serve you as your daily driver.

biggest battery phone
Design: This phone has a unique hexagon shaped body designed out of metal and ballistic nylon. It's flat corners remind me a little of the Nokia N7 back in the days. It does feel quite robust and also a bit odd on the hand, for a device with such an average form factor. It's 9 mm thick and weighs about 160 gm.
The power button and volume rockers are on the right side which are completely unique in design, unlike anything I've ever seen. There a sim tray on the left. On the bottom there are two speakers with a primary microphone and a microUSB port. On the top there's just a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Display: The Oukitel K10000 houses a 5.5' 720p IPS LCD panel. It's colors are pretty good, with nice viewing angles and good amount of contrast. It's not too bright, but it's good enough for moderate outdoor usage. Even though the screen is not crazy dense with pixels, text appeared air sharp to me, more than what I expected.

Performance: The phone runs on a quad core Mediatek MT6735 processor clocked at 1.1GHz and 2 GB of DDR3 RAM. It has 16 GB internal storage expandable via microSD card. Specs are minimal and I didn't see any gaming perforce to comment on graphical capacity of the phone. But it's intended to do more of the everyday tasks like web browsing, calling , texting, watching content and other stuff. It's storage is quite different for your needs and the clock speed, though it may seem less, it doesn't show on the outside. Performance is quite smooth, apps open quickly and the UI does a good job in memory management. I'm reminded to.e and again by phones like this, that raw specs aren't everything! It's day to day performance that really matters to make a great device.

The phone runs Android 5.1 lollipop with their own skin on top. It looks and feels quite slick! Very smooth and quite fast for the most part. There were a few hiccups but there's no perfect phone out there. That's not the best part about the phone anyway! It doesn't seem to have a fingerprint sensor on it, which is a bummer!( at least for me!)

Camera: Don't expect crazy specs here. The rear camera is an 13 mp sensor and the front is a  5 mp snapper. Camera quality was, honestly, quite disappointing. The pictures were OK in daytime as usual, but as light got lesser, shots started to get worse with a lot of digital noise and inaccurate colors.
The front camera is nothing great either. It's just meant for a few decent snaps. Nothing to do with winning the best selfie contest!

Battery: This is the 'world record' stuff right here. As you know, the phone has a huge 10,000 mAh battery, hence the name K10000. It'll last you several days, 15 days of standby as the company says. I can't comment in the battery standby yet, but it's undoubtedly the best in the world. Charging time is unfortunately quite long, taking around 4 hours to fully charge the battery. But that's not too bad, considering the capacity.

Price: The Oukitel K10000 is available for 19,000 INR. If you're a guy who just want to charge your phone once, and forget about the battery percentage for the whole week, look no further as there there is no bigger and better battery phone than this in the market.
