World's biggest Android smartphone!?

World's biggest phone

If you though 6 inches was a crazy size for a smartphone, have a look at the world's largest Android smartphone, Equal L700. Guess who the manufacturers are?! They're the same ones who made the world's SMALLEST Android phone!! That's right, Posh! If you missed the little guy called Posh micro, click here.
But is size all there is to the phone, or is it worth taking a look at?! Let's find out.

Design: The phone is undoubtedly huge, and is of a tablet's form factor. It's 8.4 mm thick and weighs 240 gms. But if you're into monster screens, them the weight will not bother you. The power button is on the right side and volume buttons are on the left side along with a flap to add two sims and a microSD card. There's an audio jack up top along with the microUSB port. The speakers are on the back. The phone is quite well made but not super premium as we've come to expect from any modern day mid ranger. There's silver, black and white color options.

Display: That display on the world's biggest phone is a 7 INCH 720p IPS LCD panel!! That's the biggest one yet. You can call it a tablet with 4G support. It's not the best or brightest display I've ever seen, but the experience was definitely far better than regular smartphones. It's a phone made for media consumption.

Performance: It's not the world fastest phone though! It runs on a quad core Mediatek MT8735 chipset clocked at 1 GHz and a Mali T720 GPU with 1 GB DDR3 RAM. Pretty decent, considering it runs smoothly for the most part. There's 16GB of inbuilt storage expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. Not too bad, but not too good either!

It runs on Android 5.1 lollipop, and it's pretty straightforward with mostly custom UI and smooth animations without a lot of bloatware. A lightweight UI is always welcomed over a buggy feature filled UI(..TW..mi..).

Camera: The rear camera is a decent 5 mp sensor and the front camera is a 2 mp snapper with f/2.2 aperture. Photos aren't amazing by any means. Camera quality is average, both front and rear. Nothing much to say here, really.

Battery: I was a bit disappointed with the battery unit. It's a 2800 mAh. They could've seriously fitted a 4000 mAh unit on that huge body. C'mon Posh!!
Battery life is decent, with about 3½ hours of continuous usage.

Price: This phone retails for a price of 11,200 INR ( $168). Well, it's good to know that the world largest phone doesn't have the largest price. It's a good option for those who have huge pockets but don't have a lot of pocket-money to spend!
